We consider it a privilege and an honour to minister the love of Christ to your child. We would like to inform you of what to expect of our Children Ministry at Destiny & Dominion Word Ministries.
Nursery
In our Nursery, we have children workers who minister the love of Christ to babies by praying for them, confessing the Word of God over their lives, feeding them and changing their diapers as needed, and generally providing a safe environment for them throughout the duration of the service. We work with parents to ensure that the physical care their babies receive in the nursery is as close to that of the home environment as much as possible.
Preschool
In our Preschool, the curriculum features one lesson for two weeks to ensure thorough learning. The lesson time comprises of learning the memory verse, bible story and life application through songs, pictures, colouring activities, crafts and visual kits at the preschool level. Through the weekly take homes of the activities the children do during the service, parents are encourage to follow up at home. Our preschoolers exhibit deep comprehension of God's Word. We see tremendous growth in them as they apply God's Word in their lives.
Grade Classes
Our Grade Classes Curriculum teaches the meat of God's Word; lesson by lesson through memory verse, bible story and life application, visual kits, sword drill, review questions and activity sheets. Our grade children are maturing in the things of God as they apply God's Word in their daily situations.
Though the church service starts at 10:30 a.m., we have Before Service Activity between 9:30 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. for children who come early, to edify them through new songs, dance choreography, skits, colouring, etc. We provide snacks and drinks for the children during the service.
On Wednesdays, we have two classes: one for the preschool and the other for grade school children. In all our services, we lead the children to encounter God in personal and powerful ways. In addition, we encourage them to exercise what they have learnt in their daily lives.
